My husband and I were downtown yesterday to provision more food for our boat trip, but decided we had to have a little treat before heading out, and the staff was super friendly and quick.

Great experience overall. The service was smooth, the ambience was nice, and the food quality was better than expected. Will visit again with family.

Overview

Walk into Body Mind & Soul Spa and feel the stress of travel melt away. This Honolulu sanctuary blends time-honored Eastern medicine with deeply restorative massage—think hot stones warming tired muscles, skilled hands releasing knots you didn't know you were holding, and the kind of silence that actually heals.

Whether you're seeking deep tissue work to unknot shoulders, the flowing grace of Lomi-Lomi (Hawaiian massage), or the ancient power of cupping and gua sha, the therapists here know exactly what your body needs. They've spent years reading tension, understanding injury, and coaxing stiffness into surrender. This isn't generic spa—it's personalized recovery.

Give yourself permission to pause. Whether it's 45 minutes or a full two hours, alone or with someone you love, Body Mind & Soul Spa restores what the Island pace tries to steal.

  • Massage styles: Swedish, deep tissue, Shiatsu, Lomi-Lomi, relaxation, hot stone, pregnancy-specific
  • Eastern medicine services: Traditional cupping, gua sha, and chiropractic care available
  • Session lengths: 30 minutes to 2 hours; couples massage options available
  • Combination treatments: Add cupping or hot stones to any massage for enhanced benefit
  • What to wear: Comfortable clothes you can easily change out of; the spa provides robes
  • Booking: Request to book or book directly through the spa website
  • Gratuity: Customary to tip 18–20% for exceptional service

Arrival

You'll check in 10–15 minutes early. The spa staff will guide you through a brief intake form, noting any injuries, tension areas, or health concerns. If you're a new patient seeing Dr. Reynold Wong, expect a consultation to understand your wellness goals.

The Treatment

Change into your robe and step into the treatment room—warm, quiet, intentional. Your therapist begins with assessment: feeling your muscles, asking where you carry stress. Then the work begins. Whether it's the gliding pressure of Swedish massage, the deep reach of therapeutic tissue work, the grounding warmth of hot stones, or the ancient pull of cupping, you'll feel tension release. The therapist may combine techniques—perhaps adding cupping to enhance circulation or finishing with gua sha for energy flow. Time dissolves.

Aftercare

You'll emerge slowly, rehydrating as your body integrates the work. Many clients feel lighter, taller, finally able to breathe. The spa team may offer post-care guidance—stretches, hydration tips, or follow-up booking suggestions if you've addressed a specific injury or concern.

Cancellations require 24 hours' notice to avoid forfeiture of payment. Pregnant clients and those with recent injuries should consult with the therapist before booking; specialized pregnancy massage is available. Children under 18 may require parental consent and supervision. Gratuity is customary and reflects the care you've received.
