Full Description

Arrival and Check-In
Arrive at the flight center in Caldwell, Idaho, and meet your instructor.
Pre-Flight Briefing
Learn the basics of airplane controls, safety procedures, and your flight plan during a 15-minute ground lesson.
Flight Experience
Take off in a Cessna 172 for a 45-minute session. Shortly after takeoff, you’ll be invited to take the controls and experience what it’s like to fly the plane yourself—under the guidance of your instructor.
Post-Flight Debrief
Review your flight and ask questions before wrapping up your aviation experience.

Participation Guidelines

Who Can Take Part?
• Age: Open to all ages
• Height: Participants must be between 5’1” and 6’5” tall
• Weight Limits:
– Individual limit: 240 lbs
– Flying with a friend? Combined weight cannot exceed 370 lbs
• Physical Ability: Must be able to enter and exit the aircraft unassisted

Additional Notes
• Children: Welcome if they meet height requirements
• Pets: Not permitted
• Accessibility: Aircraft is not wheelchair accessible

Experience Overview

What Happens on the Day?
• Total Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours (includes 15-minute ground instruction + 45-minute flight)
• Flight Lesson Includes: Hands-on flight in a Cessna 172 with takeoff, flight, and landing
• Who’s Onboard: You and an FAA-certified instructor
• Spectators: Friends/family may watch from the airport viewing area
• Photos/Videos: Feel free to bring a camera for photos
