Participation Guidelines

Who Can Take Part?

Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 16 years old. Those under 16 must have a parent or guardian present.
Physical Requirements: Participants should be in good health and free from any medical conditions that may impair their ability to fly safely.
Weight Limit: Maximum participant weight is 250 lbs.
Height Restrictions: Participants must be between 5’0” and 6’5” tall.
Medical Clearance: Participants must be eligible to obtain a 3rd Class Medical Certificate if they plan to pursue pilot training.

Additional Notes

Solo Flight: This is a one-on-one experience with a flight instructor—passengers are not permitted.
Weather Policy: Flights are subject to weather conditions and may be rescheduled for safety reasons.
Flight Log: This flight time may be logged toward FAA training requirements if you choose to continue pilot training.
Photos & Videos: Digital recordings and photos may be taken for promotional and training purposes. Participants waive rights to approve or receive compensation for such media.

What Happens on the Day?

Total Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours, including pre-flight briefing and 45-minute flight.
Flight Lesson: Begin with ground instruction before taking to the skies with your instructor.
Who’s Onboard: Only you and an FAA-certified instructor will be in the aircraft.
Photos & Videos: You’re welcome to bring a camera to capture your experience.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are required. Sunglasses are recommended.

Gratuity: Tips for your instructor are not included but are appreciated.
Restrooms: Facilities are available at the check-in location.
