Leap of a lifetime with a tandem skydive from up to 14,500 feet over the breathtaking desert landscapes of Arizona. From the moment you leave the plane, you’ll feel the rush of free-fall at speeds reaching 120 mph, followed by a calm parachute glide back to earth. With views stretching across the Phoenix skyline, Camelback Mountain, and the rugged beauty of the Sonoran Desert, this is an adventure you’ll never forget.
Your journey begins with check-in and a safety briefing from your USPA-certified instructor. After gearing up, you’ll board the aircraft for a scenic ride to altitude. Once the door opens, it’s go time—free-fall for 60 seconds before your instructor deploys the parachute for a smooth 4–6 minute descent. By the time you land, you’ll be buzzing with adrenaline and grinning ear to ear.
Arrival and Check-In
Arrive at the dropzone in Phoenix and check in. You'll meet your tandem instructor — the person you'll be connected to for every second of the jump. They have thousands of jumps and are with you from start to finish.
Training
Your instructor runs through the essentials: body position in freefall, how to arch, when to relax, and what happens at every stage from exit to landing. It's thorough, fast, and designed to make you feel ready before the plane door opens.
The Climb to Altitude
The aircraft climbs to jump altitude — typically around 10,000–14,000 feet. The ride up takes 10–20 minutes. The view out the window gives you a sense of scale. The door opens and that sense goes somewhere else entirely.
Freefall
You exit the aircraft and within a second you're falling at around 120mph — approximately 60 seconds of freefall. The sensation is closer to flying than falling. The ground is so far below it doesn't feel like you're rushing toward it.
Under Canopy
The parachute deploys and the noise drops away. You're suspended under the canopy with the landscape spread out in every direction. Your instructor may let you steer. The landing is soft enough to walk away from.
Participants must be 18 or older with valid ID and meet the weight requirements set by the dropzone. A liability waiver must be signed before jumping. Jumps are weather-dependent; if conditions are unsafe, your session will be rescheduled. Health restrictions apply — consult your instructor if you have any medical concerns.
