Step into the delicate world of rice paper—a whisper-thin canvas that holds centuries of Vietnamese culinary imagination. In this immersive, hands-on class, a five-star chef will guide you through the many personalities of rice paper: soft, crisp, grilled, and golden.

You’ll begin by rolling vibrant summer parcels—cool jicama, bright Thai basil, and slippery rice noodles wrapped tight like edible origami. Then, turn up the heat with crispy pork spring rolls—crackly, savory, and spiked with citrus and chili.

Next comes Vietnam’s answer to street-side indulgence: grilled rice paper “pizza,” bubbling with egg, scallions, kaffir lime mayo, and mint—an umami-packed bite with a snap. And for the grand finale? A trio of mousses tucked inside shatter-crisp rice paper pillows—coconut, Thai basil, and mint chocolate—light as clouds, bold as dreams.

Arrival and Welcome

Make your way to the class location in Baltimore — your confirmation email will have the exact address. Your Cozymeal chef will greet you, walk you through the day's menu, and get you oriented. No cooking experience required. Just show up hungry and ready to learn.

Getting Your Hands Dirty

The class begins with your chef demonstrating each technique before you try it — knife skills, timing, the finishing touches that turn a good dish into a great one. All ingredients and equipment are provided. From the first minute, you're cooking. Expect to work, ask questions, and laugh through the inevitable moments where things get messy in the best way.

Cooking the Meal

You cook the full menu from scratch, guided step by step. Your chef stays right there throughout — correcting technique, answering questions, and sharing the kind of context that turns a recipe into a genuine skill. By the time the last dish comes together, you'll have made something worth being proud of.

Sitting Down to Eat

The best part: you eat what you made. Your chef joins the table. The food is fresh, the company is good, and you leave with a recipe card and the confidence to recreate the whole thing at home.
